Higuma Ramen & Izakaya does some decent Japanese, seen this sort of crisp side often accompanies a proper main. Good shout if you're after a solid curry. Worth noting they've got a daily special: "$1 off sushi rolls, izakaya, rice bowls & curry on select days".
