Sonic Drive-In

About Sonic Drive-In

Sonic Drive-In, located at 2960 W Wheatland Road in Dallas, TX, offers a classic American fast-food experience with a focus on made-to-order items. The menu features burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenders, and a variety of shakes and ice cream treats. The drive-in concept includes carhop service, allowing guests to order from their cars. They also provide a drive-thru option for added convenience. Sonic has been operating for over 60 years, aiming to provide speedy service and familiar American classics.

The Vibe

This Sonic Drive-In operates with a retro carhop service model, where guests order from their vehicles. While the concept aims for fun and personality, recent reviews indicate significant issues with service speed and order accuracy. Many customers report long wait times, even when not busy, and some have received cold food or incorrect orders. The atmosphere is generally casual and family-oriented, but the inconsistent service can detract from the intended upbeat experience.
