Filthy McNasty's Saloon

About Filthy McNasty's Saloon

Filthy McNasty's Saloon is a live music bar and restaurant located in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. Established in 1978, it offers a no-cover-charge policy for live music. The menu features classic American fare, including various steak cuts like New York Strip and Ribeye, alongside chicken-fried steak and chicken. It operates within a historic district known for its Western heritage. The establishment aims to provide a space for entertainment and dining, with a focus on live musical performances.

The Vibe

This is a casual, divey bar with a focus on live music and dancing, often described as loud. While some patrons report excellent service from specific bartenders like James and Amanda, others have experienced issues with rude or inattentive staff, and occasional intoxication among employees. The atmosphere can be energetic, especially on weekends with live bands, but can also be overwhelming for those seeking a quieter experience. It's a place that can offer a good time, particularly for groups looking for music and dancing, but service consistency appears to be a concern for some.
