Connection Cafe

About Connection Cafe

Connection Cafe is a cafeteria located at 300 W 1st St, Arlington, TX. It operates as a buffet-style dining hall, offering an all-you-can-eat format. Reviews indicate a wide range of food quality, with some patrons finding the selection decent and the price reasonable for the quantity, especially with meal plans or faculty discounts. However, numerous complaints highlight issues with food preparation, including undercooked or overcooked items, and concerns about hygiene and food safety, such as expired ingredients and dropped food being returned to service. The cafe can become very crowded, particularly during lunch hours.

The Vibe

This cafeteria is primarily a functional dining space for students and staff, characterized by its busy and often crowded atmosphere during peak hours. Service can be inconsistent, with some staff noted as friendly and others described as rude. The environment prioritizes efficiency over ambiance, and while it offers convenience for those on meal plans, the overall experience is frequently impacted by concerns over food quality, cleanliness, and availability. It serves as a necessary dining option on campus rather than a destination for a relaxed meal.
